EVENT FORMAT/DESCRIPTION:

 PRELIMINARY ROUND:

At the start of the round, a 2D sketch model will be given and it has to be finished in isometric view using Solidworks.

• A duration of 20 minutes will be given.

• This is a qualifying round and the scores from this round will not be used for final evaluation.

• The decision of the Judges will be final and binding to all.

 

FINAL ROUND:

•  A single component name would be given to all the participants.

•  Everyone should  design the same in a 3D view using a 3D Modelling software.

•  A duration of 40 minutes will be given.

•  Component need not be a mechanical component.

•  No drafted diagram of the component will be given.

•  The decision of the Judges shall be final and will be binding to all.

VENUE: CADD lab

 

RULES AND REGULATIONS:

•  Solo participation only.

•  Only top 10 performers from the preliminary round will be qualified for final round.

·         The judgement will be made by considering the following criteria

                         * Timing

                         * Accuracy of dimensions

                         * Perfection

 

·         Softwares: Solid Works.

 

 The decision of the Judges shall be be final and will be binding to all.
